đ Instead of regret, try forwardsight; and a âWrecking Ballâ update!!!
February 2026
I had always thought I would travel more with my family, and not just for the holidays. Years went by and although we did some traveling locally and sometimes to further destinations, it wasnât at all like I thought it would be.
Flying over the ocean.
This later resulted in an incredible feeling of regret at the inability to make up for lost time.
I realized that I could park there in the land of disappointment, or make a change going forward.
This completely altered my mindset and has given me new inspiration in making plans that align with what I want to experience.
Iâm calling it: Forwardsight!
When we look back on our life, or year, or month, or week, we can get caught up in a shoulda-coulda-woulda mentality. Maybe we feel bad that we should have done things differently, or not at all, or made a different choice.
I even see this happening with my middle school dance students when it comes to their audition process and creating choreography.
We can make excuses, but why? Hindsight is 20-20. We can look back and think of what we should have said or done in a particular situation, but this becomes punitive towards ourselves.
Now, Iâm not saying that if you did something wrong, you shouldnât correct it.
100% you should make things right if you did something inappropriate or inaccurate.
~ However, let me introduce you to âforwardsight.â ~

This is where we look to make sure that - going forward - our intentions and actions match each other. If not, change one or the other.
Prep yourself to make better decisions going forward. What do you need to do to make sure that happens so that âfuture youâ is grateful to âtoday you?â
If you missed cues previously and misinterpreted directions, actions, or interactions with others, what can you change in terms of decoding those in the future?
If you are always doing things the same way and not getting the result that you want, you have to make a conscious change.
â Have a conversation with your family to plan the trip youâve wanted to take.
â Allow yourself to choreograph that audition solo so that it doesnât feel rushed.
â Use this as an opportunity to experiment with a new way to use forwardsight to gain momentum towards your intended outcome.
Resolve to do better.
Resolve to engage in the present.
Letâs focus on forwardsight and being open to fresh and accurate takes on whatever comes our way.
I choose to live my life with joy, kindness, empathy, truth, peace, art, dance, connection, expressionâŠ

Intention-Setting Improv
Movement Activity:
Make a list of intentions.
Dance and move your body for each one of them individually.
(You could record a video or journal to help you remember the feeling of each one.)How does each of those feel for you?
Come back to those movement ideas when you find yourself straying from your intentions.

OMG, you guys!
Over 4M views on TikTok?
I had no idea that this little video for Wrecking Ball would take off like this. In one week, it got over 4M views on TikTok and 2M on Instagram.
I thought I was just creating another little video, but this one seems to have connected with folks.
What is it?
Is it the initial run towards the camera?
Is it the lip-synching?
Is it the commitment to the emotional pull of the song?
Is it the editing?
Some combination of the above?
